About The Role

Humane is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team to support our growing operations and help manage company-wide operating expenditures. You will partner with leaders across the organization to deliver timely budgets and forecasts, present financial results and their drivers, and come up with solutions to new undertakings. You will partner with budget owners to help them understand how their decisions impact the company’s overall financial health and provide insights to executive management to facilitate informed decision-making. You will participate in daily operational decisions, supporting near-term execution as well as long-term planning.  In this new role, you will also have countless opportunities to develop and scale new processes as we continue to grow.

What You Might Do

  • Partner with leaders across the organization (engineering, operations and supply chain, marketing, all G&A functions) to create forecasts for all teams as it relates to operational expenditures
  • Own the review and analysis of monthly results and provide clear and concise strategic insights and conclusions based on outcomes of analysis
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders to analyze the financial impact of proposed business decisions while providing recommendations based on the company’s financial and business needs
  • Identify ideas for improvement of Humane’s financial outlook; lead cross-functional decision-making and implementation of recommendations
  • Build, maintain, and improve financial models and processes as the company continues to grow and scale both its operations and financial procedure.
  • Assist with the preparation of deliverables for the Board and company leadership.
  • Lead the NetSuite budget module ERP implementation
  • Participate in and support ad hoc projects and analysis as needed

Essential Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economic.
  • 5+ years of financial planning & analysis experience
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint or Keynote
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience communicating to senior business leaders
  • Experience working in highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated success driving tangible impact and influencing within a broader organization

Preferred Skills

  • CPA or MBA a plus
  • Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP system
  • Self-starter; thrives in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment

Salary range: $125,000 - $155,000

Compensation & Benefits

  • The salary range for this role is listed above. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills
