About The Role

The Partnerships Team at Humane defines, develops, and executes at the highest level to bring the Humane brand and product to market. We work cross-functionally with Design, Hardware, Software and Services engineering functions, Communications, and Recruiting. We collaborate closely with external partners - service partners, data content partners, brands, creative agencies, web developers, media agencies, and many more - to produce work of unmatched quality and lasting value for our future customers, partners, and potential hires. We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join the team and report to the Partnerships Lead. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be an early member of a team that will build a major pillar of Humane’s value proposition, in turn defining the future of how our customers use our products.

What You Might Do

  • Drive the end-to-end agreement process with 3rd party companies, including but not limited to: partners who power our experiences at the ‘core technology’ level, and partners who exist in our services ecosystem to expand our value proposition
  • Own key verticals in our partner portfolio, creating go-to-market strategies for new features and scalable programs for launching and growing relationships
  • Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders (e.g. legal, finance, product, design, marketing, legal, and engineering) to influence and develop partner and product strategy

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Development, Partnerships, or similar role, negotiating and structuring of complex partnerships
  • Experience working with Product, Engineering, and Legal in a technology environment and working on agreements that require technical deliverables.
  • A proven track record of relationship building at the highest levels with internal and external stakeholders 
  • A deeply analytical mindset, with an unmatched ability to communicate complex concepts in a concise manner - verbally, visually and in written communication

Preferred Skills

  • You have experience negotiating with and/or for large consumer technology companies and services
  • You are a relationship-builder and an excellent communicator 
  • You take a proactive, self-starter approach to your work
  • You have a passion for all things partnerships, brand, and magical consumer experiences 
  • You pride yourself on being in-the-know on the latest trends in culture, business, and technology

Salary range: $170,000 - $210,000

  • The salary range for this role is listed above. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills
